This Policy is part of the LAOUTS Terms of Service and is shown at checkout and linked from the site footer. By placing an order you agree to it.
The short version
All sales are final. LAOUTS products are made to order or delivered instantly, so we don't offer change-of-mind refunds, cancellations, or returns. We do stand behind our work: if something arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, we'll make it right. Nothing here removes the rights your local law gives you.
1. Why sales are final
Almost everything LAOUTS sells is either custom-made for you (photo books, albums, prints, and other personalized printed products) or delivered digitally and instantly (digital downloads, printable kits, asset packs, and AI-generated exports). These products can't be restocked or resold, so:
- Custom printed products cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded once production has begun.
- Digital and instant-access products cannot be refunded once the download, export, or generation has started. At checkout you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that any cancellation or withdrawal right may be lost once delivery begins.
Please review your project carefully — including the preview, spelling, photos, cover, and layout — before you order. We print what you approve.
2. The LAOUTS print guarantee (when we'll make it right)
We replace or refund, at our discretion, products that arrive with a genuine problem caused by us or production, including:
- printing defects (banding, smearing, misprint, binding failure, missing or out-of-order pages);
- damage in transit;
- the wrong item, size, or cover from what your order confirmed;
- a corrupted or unusable digital file.
To claim, contact hello@laouts.com within 30 days of delivery (or of the download date for digital files) with your order number and clear photos of the problem. If approved, we'll reprint/replace at no cost, or refund where a replacement isn't practical. We may ask you to confirm details before we reproduce an item.
Not covered: change of mind; user-side mistakes approved at checkout (typos, low-resolution or wrongly cropped photos, wrong photo chosen, design choices); minor, normal variation in color, paper, trimming, and binding inherent to printing; shipping delays, customs, duties, taxes, or address errors outside our control.
3. Order changes and cancellations
Because production can begin quickly, we can only attempt a change or cancellation if you contact us before the order enters production, and we can't guarantee it. Once production or a digital delivery has started, the order is final under Section 1.
4. Your legal rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have by law, which vary by where you live. In particular, consumers in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other regions may have rights regarding defective or misdescribed goods, and certain cancellation or withdrawal rights, that cannot be waived by contract. Where mandatory local law gives you a right that differs from this Policy, that right applies to the extent the law requires. For custom-made and personalized goods, and for digital content supplied with your consent before the end of any withdrawal period, those withdrawal rights may not apply.
